I attended Jo and Hayley’s wedding in Leicester and took a few additional photos for them as well as their own photographer that they hired.
This was my first time shooting in any form at a wedding and I learned a lot.
Jo and Hayley’s wedding was truly unique. The ceremony was set in the dinosaur room in the New Walk Museum and included performances from the Rock Choir that the couple is a part of.
The reception took place at a lovely pub restaurant with a beautiful beer garden that overlooked the rolling countryside.
I managed to get some great shots of the couple as they exited the museum with the confetti toss. A particularly good shot is that of Hayley’s mother showering the couple’s heads. A very moving shot when coupled with the fact that Hayley’s mother had just overcome an illness. True joy on everyone’s faces.
I was very grateful to have been invited and that both Jo and Hayley let me use these photos for my portfolio.
